Wisuwat Pruksavanich

     Dr. Wisuwat Pruksavanich holds the distinction of being the first Thai saxophonist to be recognized as a Yamaha Artist. In 2012, he garnered international recognition when he performed as a soloist in the world premiere of Narong Prangcharoen's composition, "The Dawn of Darkness," at Sumida Triphony Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

 

     His talents also caught the attention of Christian Lauba, a renowned French composer who discovered a video of Wisuwat's performance of "Hard too Hard," one of Lauba's most challenging compositions, on YouTube. Impressed by Wisuwat's skills, Lauba extended an invitation for him to participate in a master class held in Lisbon, Portugal.

 

     Dr. Wisuwat's musical journey has taken him to various parts of the world, where he conducted master classes and concerts in countries such as Poland, Spain, Portugal, China, France, England, the Netherlands, Hawaii, Japan, Taiwan, Croatia, Slovenia, Singapore, Malaysia, and his home country, Thailand.

 

     In 2021, Dr. Wisuwat completed his education at the Academy of Music in Krakow. Currently, he serves as a dedicated saxophone instructor at Mahidol University's College of Music, continuing to inspire and nurture young talents in the world of music.
